LennyLamb Roses Review

LennyLamb have recently released their jacquard roses collection. Many various colourways have been produced in both 100% cotton and a bamboo/cotton bend. Here is what one devoted Babywearer had to say:

I cant recommend the LennyLamb Jacquard Roses enough. They are really sturdy wraps that should last til toddlerhood . They’re bomb proof and very forgiving! Although they do need a bit of breaking in, but not much! After a bit of braiding and a steam iron, you’re set! Which makes them perfect for beginner wrappers. The weave is dense, but not heavy and they are surprisingly supportive and gave my shoulders a bit of cush.

I think LennyLamb Jacquard Roses wraps are under rated and such a high quality wrap for the price. Oh and they would make a perfect wrap to use for a wrap conversion too!

We have a few of these lovelies still available for purchase here.

Maddimoo Custom Slot Winners

We are delighted to be offering “Maddimoo a Month”. That’s one Maddimoo custom slot every month exclusively for Woven Wraps Australia customers! The draw will open on the first Wednesday of every month at 8pm (NSW) and close the following Thursday at 8pm (NSW) to be drawn by random at 9pm (NSW).

Here are some guidelines:

♥ This is a WWA custom slot. That means that you must purchase a wrap from WWA and we will send it through to Maddimoo. Please avoid the embarrassment for both of us by not asking to use your own or another wrap. If that’s something you would like, feel free to participate in Maddimoo’s weekly custom slots.

♥ Whilst we aim to keep different, varied stock we cannot possibly keep every thing, all at once. We make regular orders with our manufacturers and it is likely that available stock is usually on its way. Please keep these things in mind especially with custom spots. Some manufacturers turn over time is quick, others take a while. Some manufacturers such as Diva Milano have releases, once the stock has sold, that is all and it cannot be ordered.

♥ I have LennyLamb and Neobulle arriving in the next two weeks. Little Frog won’t be here until the end of May and a box of Ellevill arrives every week. Keep this is mind when viewing your wrap options :)

April winners are:

95-Bell Belinda for slot one, May 3rd. This requires an in stock wrap, form and full payment due by April 12th.

78-Sarah Flynn for slot two, June 7th. This requires wrap, form and full payment by May 17th.

May winner is:

51-Jane Newman, July 1st. This requires wrap, form and full payment by June 1st.

Do you know an Aussie mum who has been impacted by the current floods?

Woven Wraps Australia would encourage you to think about your friends and contacts in flood affected areas here in Australia. We would like to give a woven wrap to two mums that have been impacted by the floods, to help keep their little ones close and dry. We need your help. If you know a mum impacted by the floods, who needs some encouragement and would use a woven wrap, let us know. We are sensitive to individual’s privacy so please feel free to nominate your individual by emailing us at admin@wovenwraps.com.au We want to provide plenty of time for you to highlight your stories, so we will keep you updated on when the closing window will be. The decision will be made by random.org. We know that its only a small gesture, in the light of what’s happening around our country, but we trust that we can bring a smile to at least two of our mums, during this challenging time.

Jacquard Roses

LennyLamb baby carriers and wraps are designed and made in Poland. Until recently they have been well known for their rainbow wraps such Sunset and Sunrise Rainbow, Gaia, Tangata and Paradiso. Very similar colours with differing weft colours.

Just this week, they celebrated what they are calling an “historic day.” After the newest release of their Jacquard Roses collection, they sold a months worth of wraps and carriers, in just a few hours! Here at Woven Wraps Australia we had received news that jacquards were coming, a few sneak peak photos were sent through with promise of more to come the following day.

Now considering we stock woven wraps from varying European countries, and living here in Australia, new releases often happen in the dead of night, when we are sleeping, Anyone who knows me well, knows that I am often awake late into the evening, often into the early hours of the morning. I find that most of my most productive work can be done when my family are all sleeping. Its not uncommon to receive and email from me at 1:05 am! I am sure most WAHM can identify with this. It’s the trade off for being able to stay home with our children and also run a successful home business. So why am I telling you this? Well, I almost missed the entire LennyLamb Jacquards Roses release.

The morning after the release I logged on and quickly scanned through email and Facebook. It didn’t show up in my newsfeed. With the new changes that Facebook has implemented unless you have actively liked or posted on a business page recently, you may not see their latest updates. A few hours went by, I took the children out for the morning and then it hit me, that I had forgotten all about it!

We have a few new jacquards arriving in the roses design and are currently open for preorders for the entire collection, which is currently been rewoven after its stellar sellout day! I am so happy for LennyLamb and their success, as they have worked hard and continue to do so to make good quality woven wraps.

Now for the photo spam, there are so many colour combinations if you are anything like me, you might have trouble choosing!

Babywearing…bring it on!

It’s school holidays and its hot! I am talking really hot! Sydney’s hottest recorded day ever happened just last week.

School holidays means relaxing the routine. Late sleep ins, after late nights, showers after lunch, some times. I am really blessed to be able to work from home and so holidays, is time spent with my children.

We decided to take a day out to the city. The plan was to meet a lovely babywearing mama in the Botanic Gardens, have an explore around and then to have lunch with daddy. I very rarely use a pram, very rarely. I use a pram so rarely, that I couldn’t remember where it was! So my trusty Kinderpack and short Vatanai woven wrap it was.

It was a wonderful day. Off we trotted, three children, two baby carriers and a not too heavy backpack. We managed the train, steep escalators between train platforms, walked the large areas within the Botanic Gardens, too many stairs to count at the Opera House, the harbour walk to Circular Quay, a ferry ride to Darling Harbour, through security and up seven floors to visit daddy in the office. All with daughter 17 months on my back and two big girls. Now I am not denying that I got hot. I was tired, my feet hurt (yes, even in Birkenstocks), there were times she wasn’t so happy to be up and then she had time down also. Our day as a whole was really pleasant.

Have I mentioned just how I love babywearing? Oh and the kids slept well that night, we all did :)

Babywearing, bring it on!
