Neobulle Evolu’bulle In Review by Isabel Galea

My name is Isabel and I have been proud to wear my daughter Rosie since she was 4 days old. She is 13 months old and weighed around 8.5kg when I was lucky enough to review this awesome carrier. We are used to using a variety of styles of carrier; woven wrap, Mei Tai, Wrap tai and SSC’s and were excited to find that the Neobulle Evolu’bulle takes the positives of all these carriers and condenses them into one easily adaptable and comfortable carrier.

The best thing by far is the adjustability. It can be tightened or pulled in at every side using drawstrings and the base has three widths changeable using snap buttons, meaning it can be used for any sized bub and can be adjusted to exactly fit your own baby which I found great as Rosie is quite little but still tall. Further, although it unfortunately lacks a hood, it instead has a panel that can be fully zipped to cover up to bub’s head, supporting the neck, or rolled down to allow an arms out carry. I had never attempted an arms out carry before but felt more confident doing so in the Evolu’bulle because I could adjust the rest of the carrier to make a tight fit (I was afraid she would fall out in other carriers) The manual suggests you can leave the panel half zipped to allow for taller bubs but I found it wouldn’t hold.

I also found the carrier very comfortable. The straps are padded and lead into long wrap straps which you can spread to support your chest and bub’s bottom when doing a back carry, which I had not done before I read the instructions in the manual. The material is also very soft and breathable. We wore this wrap walking to and from playgroup and at Rosie’s birthday party all during the heat of February and found the material breathed and remained quite soft. I felt as comfortable using this as I would using a woven wrap. My husband did find that the straps came up a little short on him, but still commented that Rosie felt more secure than using our other wraps. More so, he was able to use it unsupervised which is a testament to its usability.

062All in all, this is an excellent carrier for anyone who only wants one carrier to use from newborn to toddler as its adjustability is its best feature and is very easy to learn how to use.

The Herd has arrived!

This week we had a HUGE box of Starbright Baby Teething Giraffes arrive! Whoop-whoop! It was an early Christmas tearing that box open to find 51 heads poking out of the top of the box. What makes these little giraffes so special that each one is handcrafted using wrap scraps and that’s what gives them their little personality.

ImageGirasol Cosmic Rainbow, Ardent, Double Rainbow, Didymos Pink Polkadots, Easycare Rainbow #1, BBslen Turkish Delight are just a snapshot of the various wrap scraps we had arrive this week.

ImageWe love these giraffes as they are easy for little hands to hold onto, chew on and play with!

ImageThese make an awesome Christmas stocking stuffer or small gift for the little people in your life! They are just gorgeous and we don’t think they will last long, so be quick!

Kinderpack, why we love them and you should too!

IMG_4109The last few months have been really busy here at Woven Wraps Australia. We have added some new and exciting products, the most exciting being the Kinderpack! The Kinderpack is a soft structured carrier (SSC), a baby carrier with buckles and straps. What I love most about the Kinderpack is that each carrier is made by a group of baby wearing mamas and grandmothers in Illinois, US. Therefore attention to quality and detail and therefore safety is of the utmost.

Some facts about Kinderpack

1. Kinderpack come in four sizes; infant (newborn to 18 months), standard (8 months to 3 years), toddler (18 months to 4+ years) and preschool (3 to 5 years). Finding the perfect fit for you child has never been easier. When sized correctly, your child will have knee to knee support and a nice high and supportive body panel, which is especially good for children who like to sleep whilst being carried.

2. There are two different strap sizing options; standard and plus size, in order to cater for all body shapes and sizes. More information about strap sizes can be found here .

3. The waist band is padded and so comfortable! The dual-adjuster straps means that you can adjust the Kinderpack to wear on either your front or back and avoid underarm rub, like so many other SSC!

4. Kinderpacks come in both full fabric and comfort mesh/Koolnit. That’s great for Australian summers, as comfort mesh/koolnit are technical mesh fabrics designed to keep the baby cooler during heat. Both meshes are very similar in their design and both are used in order that a great colour selection be available for Kinderpacks.

5. There is a “stuff and snap” hood design. When the hood isn’t in use simply stuff it into the body of the carrier and snap the two piece structured headrest together. No fussing with an attachable hood, that may (if you are anything like me) end up getting lost! The shape of the hood is aviator shaped on all full fabric Kinderpacks, on comfort mesh/koolnit Kinderpacks, the hood is a flat, rectangular hood.

6. The infant sized Kinderpack has no bulky insert. Rather, a strap at the base of the carrier which is able to be adjusted to the width of very young babies, to ensure legs out with correct positioning.

Why you NEED a Kinderpack!

They are SUPER comfortable. I mean it, you honestly will be hard pressed to find a carrier so comfy.

They are highly adjustable and so one carrier can suit multiple wearers, mum, dad, grandma, Aunt Josephine from the country ;)

They come in many bright and funky fabrics and if “understated” is your go, there are some plain coloured, more subtle colours too.

When sized correctly, your baby/child will always have a comfortable, well supported ride.

Last reason…..because your are curious, right?? That’s why you need a Kinderpack. I wanted to “know what all the fuss was about” and so I made the leap and purchased not one (but three!) Yes three Kinderpacks.  Now I know what all the fuss was about……and I am glad I did.

We have regular Kinderpacks arriving in our store. To view what is currently available head across to Woven Wraps Australia . Please feel free to contact us with any questions or queries you might have!
